Ok everybody loves Star Wars, even me though I'll deny it till the end! Well I went to see Episode 3 Revenge of the Sith yesterday. Absolutely fan-freaking-tastic. It was absolutely amazing. I actually even cried...which isn't saying much because I am a very emotional person anyways, but the only other time I cried watching SW was in Ep 2 and Ani's mom dies. Hayden Christensen is my god. That man is completely gorgeous..and he can act this time around. And though I wasn't supposed to feel bad for Anakin at the end of the movie, I did, and it was all because of Hayden's excellent portrayal. EVERYONE NEEDS TO GO SEE EPISODE 3!! Meanwhile check out some pics, cos I am pic obsessed. Hooray for Canadian actor Hayden!! True Patriot Love for you baby! I felt super bad for Anakin (played by Hayden) and the lovely Padme (played by Natalie Portman)...Padme was the worst...I cried so hard... Min

I absolutely LOVED Episode 3!!! I've seen it twice so far (just cuz it's one of those movies you have to see more than once to make sure you got it all)! Before going to see it for the 1st time I watched Episodes 1 and 2 the night before, just so that the story line of Episode 3 would flow better. Then over the course of the next 2 days from seeing Episode 3, I watched the original Star Wars in order… and WoW! It really is an amazing story! While most people (especially ones who are TRUE Star Wars fans from the 70s and 80s) weren't too impressed with the new movies, I though they were all good.
The dialogue in Episode 2 left something to be desired for, and while the dialogue in Episode 3 wasn't the greatest in the world, it was better than its predecessor. Perhaps I didn’t mind the new Star Wars because I wasn’t old enough to participate in the magic and mysticism of the first trilogy, and never really sat down and watched all 3 until after I saw Episode 1.
The new trilogy certainly opened up Star Wars to a whole new generation of people (my generation in particular), and I think that the story of Anakin Skywalker’s downfall to the Dark Side was beautifully played out. A lot of people were angry at how Jake Lloyd portrayed Anakin in Episode 1, and A LOT more people were angry at how Hayden Christensen portrayed Anakin in Episode 2.
First of all… you’re only as good an actor as the script that is laid before you (and while George Lucas is a complete and total GENIOUS… he by no means is a romantic dialogue writer), and secondly, George Lucas has said that he didn’t want to portray Anakin as an evil child and teenager because then his leap to the Dark Side wouldn’t be very interesting, and it wouldn’t make sense when Darth Vader turns back to the good side of the force in “Return of the Jedi”. Lucas has said that he wanted to portray a character who was in all sense of the word “good”; to give him redeeming qualities so that if you DIDN’T know that Anakin Skywalker was going to become Darth Vader, then you would believe that there was still some shred of hope that he would stay perpetually good.
Hayden Christensen did a FANTASTIC job of portraying Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader, and he has grown quite well as an actor. Mad props to Ewan McGregor who was just beyond awesome! So if you haven’t seen Episode 3… GO SEE IT. Then watch the original trilogy and see how everything ties in together and how much sense everything finally makes! Trust me… you’ll LOVE it!!!!!
Here’s how I would rank the 6 Star Wars movies in order of their greatness (this is according to ME, so if you don’t agree… don’t patronize me over it)!
1. This is a tie between "Episode VI: Return of the Jedi" and "Episode III: Revenge of the Sith" 2. "Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back" 3. "Episode I: The Phantom Menace" 4. This is a tie between "Episode IV: A New Hope" and "Episode II: Attack of the Clones"
