I have always believed that the written word was meant to be read. Currently I am working on a novel and can really use any form of encouragement I can get. The poetry I am posting here is some of the more dark that I have written. I hope you will enjoy it and post your comments. Comments are my life blood and encourage me to write more. All of the poetry posted is copyrighted and I would appreciate it if you would recieve permission from me before using it. I would find it very flattering if you did ask to use it. All exposure is good esposure after all...
Enjoy,

A new poem....
[glow=red,2,300]Wilted[/glow]
Blue, black, and purple Crushed orchids amongst frail lillies A delicate interlacing of veins. Fading into yellow/green smears, Surrounding the deep coulour... A fingerprint of anguish. Silence of assension or cries of distress. Both mean the same. One has a price. Walking a tightrope. A balancing act. One misstep can end it all. Ivory palor, offset by bruises. Self recrimination. Fear causes blindness, and panic. The truth is only suspected. Tall collars, long sleeves. No one speaks up. The perfect flower on the vine, Cut before its time. The rose bud withers before blooming. Your poetry is very good Imbrium and I hope to read more.
Can I just say though that sometimes people read poems but are unable to post a comment because they dont know what to say or because they feel that what they have to say doesnt do the writer justice because of the fact that their poem was so good.. sometimes I have been lost for words after reading a poem, in which case I didnt leave a comment because I just couldnt think of anything to say, there are many reasons why people may not comment.
Yet posting your poems and expecting people to leave comments in the hopes of getting to read more of your poems just means that people feel pressured into commenting so they in turn choose not to comment at all.
If you look at many of the poems posted in this section you will find that there are a lot of really wonderful poems that people have not commented on, but just because people have not commented doesnt mean that they have not read and enjoyed the poetry.
