I've just finished reading Servant of the Bones and I have to say the way Anne Rice can make things seem sensual without being sexual is so amazing.. I wish I could write like that..

Have you read Cry to Heaven? That book is very graphically erotic, but not to the point where it is disgusting =)

Have you read Blackwood Farm? that has some erotic parts in it...
Now did you know that Stan Rice was the inspiration for Lestat?
Also Elton John and Bernie Taupin, his lyricist, are going to make a Broadway production of the three Vampire Chronicles: INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE, THE VAMPIRE LESTAT, and QUEEN OF THE DAMNED.
It will be around 2005 before you are able to go see it..
Also "The Witching Hour". has been made into a 12 hour adaptation and it's already gone to NBC for the television miniseries. It's THE WITCHING HOUR, LASHER, and TALTOS.
Anne Rice finished BLOOD CANTICLE, which at the moment is the last book in which Lestat will speak.
This is a sad though as without Lestat to read about life will be very boring..

Very interesting info, Lestat. Thanks for sharing. I can't wait to see the Mayfair mini-series. Should be good =) As long as the actors are good, anyways.
Speaking of the books, I don't know if this is the right thread to put this in, but I thought you guys might like to know that myself and a friend did the scene where Louis is turned by Lestat as our 12th grade Drama exam. I know I am girl, but I played Louis (dyed my hair the right color and everything!) and my friend played Lestat (even though he really didn't look like Lestat). We got 100%, partially because my Drama teacher's favorite movie is IwtV =)

Memnoch the Devil is an amazing book. It's got to be one of my favorites, after Tale of the Body Thief and a couple others.
Lestat, I recommend you read it.
