LOL Good chap!
I just started reading The Vampire Lestat again, and whenever I think of Lestat, for the most part, I always seem to see him as Tom played him in IWtV....but I am only about 100 pages into TVL and I totally love him again =)
I also REALLY love Nicki de Lenfent! It's a shame about what happens to him.
On a side note, I was thinking: If they happened to make TVL and QotD into 2 movies (as they should have), I would ADORE seeing Orlando as Nicki =)
Who's with me!

I pronounce Louis as Loo-ee...which is the French way of saying it...
Loo-iss is the Anglicized way of pronouncing it..
I believe it should be said the French way because Louis is a French gentleman from Louisiana =)

Well WLH, the next one in the series is Memnoch the Devil, which is really rather good. After that, you will want to read:"
The Vampire Armand Merrick Blood and Gold Blackwood Farm Blood Canticle
Those are the ones with Lestat,
However, keeping with the same set of characters, you could also read Pandora and Vittorio the Vampire.
=P

I'm currently reading "Cry to Heaven", and so far, I absolutely love it. I've always been interested in castrati singers just because I could not believe that the Catholic church would push for something that awful... but alas... they did. If you want to see a good movie, and aren't opposed to having to read the subtitles, then watch the movie "Farinelli", which is a "true (I'm not sure exactly how much of it is fact, but a good portion of it is)" story of the real castrati singer from the 1700s. It really gives a good insight into the life of a castrati singer, and the fact that it depicts a real man is all the more interesting. I've almost read ALL of Anne Rice's books now, and I've got to say, aside from the Sleeping Beauty trilogy, her "erotic" scenes are somewhat disappointing. The Sleeping Beauty trilogy just kinda weirded me out because I'm personally not into that type of fetish stuff (or any fetish stuff for that matter)... but they're good books none the less. After reading "Voice of the Blood" by Jemiah Jefferson, books labeled as having erotic scenes in them (like many of Anne Rice's) have just let me down... because I am always expecting something as deep, graphic, and sexy as what Jemiah portrays in "Voice of the Blood". Anne Rice will always be one of my favorite authors, and I think she writes beautifully, but her "erotic" scenes are just disappointing... simply because there isn't much to them, they're not graphic, and they're not sexy. ~Megan

Cry to Heaven is fantastic.
If you wanna read something more graphic, pick up "Exit to Eden"...Anne wrote it under the name Anne Rampling.
It's more erotic than her other works. It's about either an island or a cruise ship that is all about having sex and being sexual...
I can't really remember much about it as it was years ago when I last read it.
