Sighs! I can't believe that anyone would think this was a good movie. Sighs again. I thought the movie to be a typicall American movie. It was "based" on pieces of classical literature and not one of the story even had the same ideas or characters. Dracula is seen in full light and with his brides. AND for the last time Frankenstein is the scienist not the monster. Ok that was the end of my rant.

Well, I thought it was a good film just for it's entertainment value, but in terms of it's accuracy and storyline, it was shoddy. I think that effects were great and Jackman is a decent actor, but it's clearly not as good as I thought it was going to be. Min P.S. I knew that the scientist's name was Frankenstein! =)

It was "based" on pieces of classical literature and not one of the story even had the same ideas or characters. Dracula is seen in full light and with his brides. Well personally I wouldnt have cared if it was a mix of a million different stories all conflicting each other as I went to see it because of the effects and because of it having a few Australian actors in it. But it would be a boring world if we all had the same opinion or were all experts on everything or all looked the same... ok so I've raving a bit here but hey thats what makes me me ;D AND for the last time Frankenstein is the scienist not the monster. Ok that was the end of my rant. Ok so I'm guessing here that something happened before you logged on and posted that had to do with Frankenstein Cause I didnt notice anywhere in these posts where anyone here even mentioned Frankenstein or his monster ;D

Ok boys relax, don't let the hormones fly! =)
Well, Lestat, all I have to say is that you and Louis think similarly when it comes to patriotism...Aussies rock!
Quick now, show of hands: Who else thought David Wenham was funnier than hell in this flick? =)
Oh and Malaika, you really need to calm your estrogen levels, sista! =)

If any of you want to rant or debate about names of scientists or their creations there is a section called Heated Topics where you can go to vent and let out your agression or just your view. Min I loved David Wenham and it was fantastic to have him as the funny one in this movie. ;D

Min I loved David Wenham and it was fantastic to have him as the funny one in this movie. ;D Well I won't lie, the only other films I have see Wenham in are LotR (which he was most excellent in) and The Crocodile Hunter: Collison Course (Yes I love Steve Irwin...it's seriously my favorite show!) Wenham rocks! Min

*shrug* Dunno, Jade...can't see your hand.
Come now, CC isn't that bad...it's just the typical Irwin behaviour =) So the acting wasn't the best and the story was dumb, but it was fun and somewhat amusing =)

Really I thought the monk...the guy who played the monk was so familiar and now I know why, because, yea you already said it, david wenham, and I totally reconized him from the LOTR triligy.
and so what if I am a bit gulliable? *laughs* took me couple of looks before I figured it out. hehe.
Second, Minara, darling, I'm already calmed down, then again I just like Hugh for some.....strange reason *winks*
but I'm over him and loving another aussie guy. LOL.
